Newsletter signup. When you sign up for the newsletter, we collect your first name, optionally your last name, and your email address. This data is used solely to send you product updates and your early-access discount. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

We use a double opt-in procedure: after signing up you receive an email with a confirmation link, and you are only added to the list once you click it. We record the time of signup and confirmation to be able to prove your consent.

Pre-order notification.If you sign up via “Notify me when I can order” in the shop, we also note that you are interested in ordering, so we can tell you first when pre-orders open.

Apart from this, the technical server logs described under “Hosting” and the anonymous visitor statistics described under “Web analytics”, we do not collect any personal data. There is no tracking across websites and no advertising on this website.

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the site, Vercel processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and time of access in order to deliver the website and protect it against abuse (server logs). Our server-side functions, such as the newsletter signup, run in Vercel's Frankfurt (Germany) region.

Vercel acts as our processor under a Data Processing Agreement. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; any transfer of data to the USA is based on this adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). The legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how many people visit the site, which pages they view, and where visits come from (e.g. Instagram or our newsletter). It does not use cookies or store anything on your device, and it does not track you across websites. Visitors are counted using a hash of the incoming request that changes every day, so individual visitors cannot be identified or followed over time. Only aggregated statistics are shown to us.

The provider is Vercel Inc. (see “Hosting”). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We use Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 55 rue d'Amsterdam, 75008 Paris, France) to manage our newsletter list and send emails. Your name and email address are stored on Brevo's servers within the EU. Brevo is GDPR compliant and acts as a data processor under a Data Processing Agreement.

This website links to Instagram content but does not embed Instagram iframes. No data is transferred to Instagram when you visit this site. If you follow an Instagram link, Meta's privacy policy applies.

We store a single flag in your browser's localStorage to remember whether you have already seen and dismissed the newsletter popup. No personal data is stored. This is not a cookie and does not track you across sites.

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time, as well as the right to withdraw consent for newsletter communications. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@coubfitness.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority for Berlin is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
